Drums are a bit gay* and I think we should drop them. Fair play to the drummers for having a go at improving the atmosphere. But it isn't working any more.

* = rubbish.

Union is played by people who close airports after a bit of snow, League is played by people who would go and have a snowball fight with a 747

The trouble is, people have become so accustomed do the drums now, nobody dare think about songs or chants that weren't started by or involve the drum.
They used to add to the atmosphere, but now they are the only form of atmosphere there is.

That said, even with the drums, fewer and fewer people seem interested in chanting and the like, which is fine, we all go to the games for our own pleasure, but it makes you wonder why people choose to stand near what is obviously going to be the vocal section of the crowd if that doesn't interest them.

Agree entirely

Hope the weather holds up for this one, should be a cracker. Wigan are still a crazy team, they seem to have joined us at being consistently inconsistent, although they generally fair better at the business end of the season.

Well with the vast majority of fans at Featherstone looking at me to lead them in song last weekend, some seem to be unwilling to make much noise without them*.

I'll be taking mine, if people don't seem interested without them, then it'll be getting used.

*Having said that, even when I did put the effort in, most didn't seem to care
