No, but we did make a CC final and GF around that time. Not saying there's a direct correlation before anyone starts, but it would seem playing a bit more 'grubby' got results, as it seems to do for recent GF and CC Final winners (Stains and Wigan).
Got to say I really dislike the CC semi draw being at half time of our match. I can easily it affecting our attitude (more so than Wigans imo) as I think we are mentally frail and too many of our squad will be thinking of the semi before doing the graft against Wigan. We could easily get pummelled.

Have you not noticed our habit of having a forward stand in front of the play the ball on the last tackle to “protect” the kicker?
