Although clearly limited he was very good at getting into contact, drawing in two or three and offloading but we very rarely seemed to utilise that side of his game. He also saved his best performance for against Toulouse when we really needed it.

His chase down of Lolohea at Huddersfield recently, over 75 metres revealed a turn of pace that I didn`t realise that Jason Clark possessed.

To be fair, I'm nearly 50 and I reckon I'd stand a good chance of catching lolohea

Briers and Westwood certainly, morley I would say is a wire legend and Nat wood (for his antics) in the superleague era. Monoghans are a good shout but probably fall just short. Jiffy and Mike gregory before superleague.

You can do as you like. I will still pass my opinion on the relative merits of a player based on watching other players in the same position for 40 years.

Nice guy maybe, but never legend status. He will be forgotten in the mists of time.

Super nice guy, but what did he actually do over 4 years as an overseas sub player playing small minutes that a decent player from the championship couldn’t have done? Waste of a quota space, neither a prop or second row. Super nice guy though. Peak wire style signing of the last 5 years sadly.

Nominating Nat Wood because of his antics is peak Wire too. Did he go to Wigan in the end? I seem to think he didn't, although he almost did. I hope not.

Nat Wood was a very classy player as well to be fair to him. Did we release him so we could sign Michael Sullivan?
