Of course there is "some grain of truth". But we know, don't we, so why bang on. Anyway not really happy with individuals probably employed by the club ... enjoying their "wonderful moment" on social media and feeding the cynicism that surrounds the club. Not helping us.

We only know because Snaggletooth relayed the information which you then subsequently rubbished as rumour or gossip from a cleaning lady.

I think it's valid forum debate and if you don't think the same you can just skip this topic? But you seem to want to stifle any single debate that you don't like.

Sorry I didn't think I'd stifled the debate just thought we ought try to get a bit of clarity on the very interesting topic of what Amor might have said & when.

I don't find this in the slightest bit hard to believe, regardless of whether it was aimed at the coaches, players, management or wolfie.

In terms of professionalism thia season has been a mockery; it's all well and good to say we've got international standard players - maybe that's exactly the point. We've got international standard players who have shown they lack international level commitment.

Personally, Ashton aside I wouldn't have a single wire player in the WC squad.

I fear you cannot help yourself from sniping and being disingenuous in your posts.

You have made remarks such as "banging on" and equating first hand witness accounts as cleaners gossip. This gives me the impression you want the discourse to stop and wish to discredit the poster. Just who do you think you are to do this?

A title winning player exposing the lack of professionalism within the club we love is of interest and importance to a good number of people on this forum. But I am sorry to say you attack the messenger and other contributors. Perhaps you are unable to tolerate the possibility that the story may be true.

However you are entitled to your opinions and we can disagree. You see because that is how forums work.

Thanks for the advice. I do think you have me a bit wrong. I am under no illusions at all about what an awful state Wire are in. I do feel the club needs protecting and I get no pleasure, at all, out of twisting the knife.

If true, and it wasn't aimed at the players, who would you expect it to be aimed at? Kisscam Karl, Powelly, the board, the owner, who else?

I don't think we can accuse kisscam of being professional can we? Maybe he is now but at the start of the year our CEO masterminded a kid in a sponsors car to not deliver the matchball, surely that shouldn't be a primary focus. Yes it got a bit of exposure but only exposure to make us look like a badly run and poorly organised laughing stock. Nothing against whizzy rascal of course who did an excellent job, lions led by donkeys etc. I mentioned recently that at least the gimmicks have dried up, I really hope that the new culture adopts rugby as the main focus from top to bottom. After all a successful rugby club is the best marketing tool we have ever had, see Emirates sponsorship.

I'm looking forward to the end of this season, hopefully it can end on a high against a depleted Salford, I've disliked the lot, the worst kits I can remember us having and the worst performances I can remember as well. Next year has to be different.

Was that before or after people realised it was staged?

Fair enough anyway, I felt a bit like it was look at rugby league and how amateurish they are.

Just another gimmick, it didn't help anyway did it, the crowds decreased when the rugby got poor, nobody seemed to be thinking they can't not go the game in case they missed another of kisskams hilarious gimmicks. I doubt reminding people of whizzy rascal will see an upturn in season ticket sales either.
