It was a case of proche mais pas de cigare for Catalans as St Helens are crowned this year's Champions and Mr Snoodle took full advantage of the triple points on offer ammassing a very healthy 24 points. The rest of us didn't quite couper la creme patissierre as follows and it's a big well done to karetaker for a deserved Champion performance

So I wake up this morning with my title gone, it's probably a good thing that I'm disappointed with 5th

All jesting aside, we could call the winner a few furlongs out as karetaker skipped clear some weeks ago and the rest of us were never able to reel him back. Congratulations, a deserved winner.

Thanks guys and thanks Rico for keeping the memory of Wire Yed going with this comp. Yes I had a real run a couple of months back when I seemed to be winning the weekly round nearly every week if only I could of transferred that to the national lottery and be making my predictions from my own island

After performing dismally all season I finally win one......with no Wire involvement at all!
