Really sad news. I never really corresponded on here with him but enjoyed reading his posts - even this loose connection made me feel sick when I read the thread so I dread to think how those who knew him use feel. I hope these messages give some crumb of comfort to his family and friends. RIP WireYed - will be thinking of you at 3:00pm tomorrow.

Just found out having read the sticky post on the boards. Very sad to hear, was a bit of a character over the years on the Wigan board with his 'healthy' debates (  ), however he would also come on the forum and have a good old chat. I liked him. RIP Wire Yed (Steve).
