Get to the peaks or the Lakes and go offroad that'll get your stamina up, the roads will feel like a velodrome in comparison.

Thanks all - I've got a road bike rather than a mountain bike so I'm going to have to stick to roads I think.

Bringing this back on topic a bit - my closest away game is Salford. I could ride my bike there but [Insert tired gag about Salford].

I'm based in rural Northamptonshire so it's a 280 mile round trip for me. Season ticket holder and I get to see most home games, usually day return courtesy ( or even in spite of ) Virgin Trains. I lived in London for 18 years so made Fulham my 'home team' from 1981 until I moved away.
