A good dust up in the first 5 mins on Friday would work wonders for the atmosphere far more than any songsheets.

It'd also brighten up songs of praise.

Don't mean to but in but surely you can think of 2 better Wire ledgends then Johns and Penny

Johns played about 5 games and Penny is far from being a ledgend...........Mike Gregory and Brian Bevan would surely be more fitting?

The trouble is, people have become so accustomed do the drums now, nobody dare think about songs or chants that weren't started by or involve the drum.
They used to add to the atmosphere, but now they are the only form of atmosphere there is.

That said, even with the drums, fewer and fewer people seem interested in chanting and the like, which is fine, we all go to the games for our own pleasure, but it makes you wonder why people choose to stand near what is obviously going to be the vocal section of the crowd if that doesn't interest them.

It wasn't a serious song suggestion, just threw in two names that would fit into the song and have played for us at the HJ.
