I don't know whether or not he left Wigan mid contract, but I was under the impression that Canberra terminated his deal with them during this season. There must have been some beef between GW and Canberra for the club to do that, as getting replacements in mid season isn't the easiest thing to do with a salary cap.

Can't see him going anywhere else....I'm sure he would like the challenge of helping Warrington win their 1st ever grand final, if it doesn't happen this season. Although you're not really short of quality half backs.

we dont do salary cap breaches.

at the end of the day, we can offer a nice juicy 4 year contract on more than anyone else can.

People be hating on that, but its just how it is.

The salary cap doesn't work like that you can't just get rid of a player and their salary just disappears off the cap. If Inglis just left now his Salary remains on the cap until the end of the year, the only way to free up cap space now is if another team signs them immediately in which case their wage on the cap would transfer to them.
