Really don’t think Thompson is worth big money of any sort, I personally would be seriously underwhelmed with his signing.

Included my source, it's definitely one to take with a pinch or spade of salt, hence it being in the rumours thread. He's got a few things right and was banging on about Daryl Clark well in advance of that being a rumour and knew about Mikaele wanting out too. But he's got stuff wrong too. It's not outlandish stuff, you are a prop light on where you started the season and if McGuire does go there's money there to reinvest this season. Outside backs are also a weakness, certainly one winger and centre could be improved upon. (Mata'utia and Russell).

One article referred to him as a nutter.
Another article had a comment saying if we manage to keep him
out of the local boozers he will be a good signing!
