I'm not normally one for spreading unsubstantiated 'facts' but I was told £175k for Brown which I thought was a bit dear.

What is extremely coincidental, is that when we've raided these middle to struggling clubs for their special one....
That team then ends up being financially sound and off the back if that, have a very good following season...more often bettering ourselves!?

Hull last year? They won the Challenge Cup, although we won the LLS and got to the Grand Final.

I could be tongue in cheek and say St Helens when we signed Martin Gleeson

Hull's not a bad shout COYW but I'd say a draw. Sure they had a better season than their previous but was theirs better than ours without getting into the semantics of how does two final spots plus the LLS equate to the CC win.

You can't have Gleeson ha ha

My example of RD's theory not working in recent years would be Salford and we went there twice for Myler and Ratchford and still they didn't improve.

Sorry RD Cas may have improved after we signed Clark it was the often bettering us that I'd dispute and like Hull I don't think that is clear cut
