We only played for 40 minutes so can't really complain, but the standards of officiating are killing this sport I love. That was NEVER a try

Can't fault very much about that. Home team were always going to throw everything at us in the first half; we were under the cosh but would have only been four points down if it were not for a scandalous decision.

Second half we threw everything at them, completely won the territory but just couldn't find the last route through. Disappointed but not ashamed. Ashton was simply incredible.

Shameful decision, but we weren't good enough in the end. They're the best team we've played against this season, but I hope Wigan batter them next week. I'll enjoy seeing Mikey Lewis get shown up on the big stage as much as I enjoyed Luke Gale getting it in 2017.

Kick the goals we win the game. 1 was not difficult, the other on the touchline but we saw one nailed like that last week when it mattered.

It was in our hands.

Anyway a much better season than I was expecting.

If that try wasn't given, the whole game works out differently, so don't focus on it.

Way beyond expectations at the start of the season. One final, 3rd on the ladder, one score from the GF.
