I was never a fan of TS who would put his blue eyes straight back into the first team as if it was their god forbidden position.

When you say "god forbidden" I'd agree shouldn't be allowed.....hell on a hand cart and all that.

Never really had a problem with TS's picks or noticed much in the way of players with 'God given rights'. Particularly in the halcyon days the team seemed to pick itself and I don't remember much grumbling at the time. When things got stale was it the cause or effect I'm not sure

I had problems with Smith insisting on selecting a certain prop that we signed from the NRL.

Don't want to cause forum users to have nightmares by mentioning his name....

It’s why I’m against the squad number concept.
I’d want to see a player with the 1-13 on their back on merit.

Grrrrrr

My grandmother would gave played better and with more enthusiasm - and she's been dead 30 years.
Shocking truly shocking.

Wrench i still think is constantly overhyped, he has a few flashes of brilliance every so often but that's it.
His defensive game still isn't great and he shoots out of the line and misses alot. Loads of room to improve but just hasn't got the opportunity to get a big run of games under his belt yet.

Who ever is selected at right centre at Wembley will be targeted by Wigan as the weak defensive link in our backline.

Williams and Thewlis will add some defensive steel though to help out.

Tai and Wrench are completely different types of players and I think Tai will be selected for this weekend's game.
