Think they mentioned on commentary on Thursday night that Walker had displaced Clark as the best 9 at the club. Not sure that's quite the case yet but Walker was one of the few to come out of Thursday night with some positives.
Clark will be 31, Walker 24 at the start of next season, both will want decent game time, much may depend on whether Clark will be happy with a dual role long term, will he be happy playing 30 mins at 9 and 20 mins at 13 and will Walker be happy only getting 50 mins a week?
If Clark does stay, you'd have to think it would be on reduced terms, we need to free up some space for a couple of high quality centres in 2024.
