Exactly. Under Price, we mirrored an Aussie side that plays a grade below NRL level (I'd imagine). Got the basics right, but lacked flare. I don't know what we resemble now, bar a shambles. Powell comes with a cV of improving players. To me, EVERY ONE of our regular starters has regressed. Something's got to give, before our next game. Either a few players dropped, or Powell and Sheridan (yes, he's as culpable) need to go.
The club is in a rotten state. We need action, either one way or another. We cannot merely carry on, "hoping for the best"
What do you suggest - go all out for Michael Maguire?
All I am reading is Powell this Powell that, what about the players…
After todays performance Currie and Philbin are lucky to have contracts next year as they were cr@p today. Currie needs a sensational year next year if he wants to be offered a new contract. As for King a fellow fan said to me today he’s a Charlatan since signing his contract, the lad is stealing a living and needs dropping for the next match. His defence is abysmal and he’s doesn’t run any decent lines.
Don’t get me started on Widdop who was totally off the pace!
Extra training next week for the whole team who appear to have forgotten how to play rugby.

Any new manager walking into this situation, I believe, would be encountering similar problems when the players know half of them are going to be going and that they can't finish early and have it their own way.
This result and others, where our players can't be bothered to defend, tells you all you need to know about their attitude ie. me me me. Because they can't have things their own way, they're prepared to throw our new coach under the bus and worse still, embarrass and shame the fans and club who support them and pay their wages.
Even if we finish bottom, I'm right behind Powell because I have faith that he is seeing the bigger picture: Unless we have a reboot and culture change of this magnitude, then we're going to continue to underachieve.
Thewlis needs to come back in, wrench to centre for King and Longstaff for Currie….possibly Magoulias or J Clark instead of Holmes who also needs dropping. Powell for all his strong arm tactics is clearly very weak in some instances.

Unbelievable, Jeff. We'll underachieve whoever we have in charge, that's the Warrington way. Powell will change nothing. NOTHING. All he'll do, and has done so far, is to drag us down.
You stay happy with a potential relegation, to justify an appointment. I was under-impressed when we got him. He (and his style) haven't improved us. He's used all "get out of jail cards", now.

Some players are not playing for the coach. Do you advocate bowing to player pressure?
Powell does not help himself by continuing to pick them though.

I agree with you mostly, I do think it's the players who have downed tools BUT Powell keeps picking them! He doesn't have to, he could pick players who want to be at the club like Riley Dean and Ellis longstaff. I think he may have alienated the whole squad, they really don't seem to care at all. There are a few who should have played their last games for the club after this recent rubbish.
My lad wants to go to his first game this year, absolutely no chance I want his first experience of the wire to be an awful performance and a toxic crowd atmosphere.

I DESPISE player power, but his stubbornness to pick the same players who are 5h1te/underachieving now, is down to him. His recruitment/retention (Williams, Clarke, Mygoolies, Widdop etc) is a joke.

Please take this in the right context, CW8, but taking him to this rubbish, is tantamount to child abuse. Childline would be knocking at your door
