Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

Currie showing some real form, any idea why he went off?
Hull were abysmal but some signs of understanding between our halves, early days.

Feck me....he sacks his coach to embarrass him live on tv.
I’m shocked. Pearson could have at least gave the guy some easing out and to be able to talk to the players before the rest of the world knew.

That Hull performance was totaĺly inept.
The coach has to take a major part of the responsibility, but so too do the players - especially the senior pros.
Not one single one of them can hold their heads high.
Basic stuff from minute 1 to 80. A shambles.

BUT BUT BUT
Wire were pretty awful and have been flattered by this result.
Most other SL sides would have beaten us tonight.

Don't know if Austin was on the wacky baccy but his post match interview showed little recog option of how poor we really were.
2nd half we looked better but that's only because Hull got worse.

However it's 2 points and I think both Austin and Widdop will have gained some confidence.

Toby King played very well and Currie made the tackle of the game to stop Tuimavave. Jason Clarke got through a mountain of work and Coops caused problems - particularly with his offloads.

Let's hope things get better, but I really don't take too much our of this game.
It as amateurish from both sides for large parfs of the game.

wasn't much in the first half... 2 poor sides on display.

2nd half we got some confidence when we realised that Hull wouldn't have beat an Italian OAP side.

I thought Currie had an excellent game.

Felt a bit sorry for Hull... Poorest SL side i think ive seen in along time that Hull one tonight

He had to do something to get the fc fans back onside

Neither glass half full or empty. Just a realist.

"Look at me, everyone", bordering on narcissism.

I saw a good performance from Wire and good pressure helped ease out the errors from Hull...yes I admit most were stupid, but still forward dominance from Wire won it.

How great is Clark coming off the bench...that was back to the form he had in his MOS season with Cas...when it so happened he came from off the bench.

All i can hope is that Hull's ineptitude gives us some confidence going forward. It was still a performance not to be lauded. Might be the last game for a while so there's time to sharpen things up which is badly needed.

It wasn't a masterclass by any means but there were encouraging signs.
The defence was effective and the team look like they are "Earning the right" to play some rugby. You could see we were holding back offloads in the first half waiting for the dam to burst.
I think the Gelling suspension had an impact after the saints game combined with widdop coming into the team.
I like the stingy defence and even when our line was broken there were plenty of numbers back. After the wigan and saints game I said that we looked happy to defend and that appears to have returned in the last 2 games.
