Im not saying your bad because this year your a great team, but your record against the 'big sides' is poor, i cant see you beating wigan AWAY - 2 losses in 12 months! Saints - record speaks for itself no matter how you are performing and Leeds who are hitting some form, one set back against crusaiders is nothing I think you will drop between 4 - 8 points before the end of the season Wigan 2 Saints 2 then possibly Leeds2 and possibly hull if they want to play
I was in Paris when we played Wigan at home so I didn't see that game but from what I read on here afterwards it really could have gone either way and fair enough.
However, I was at Knowsley Road and Headingley and on both occassions I just felt like we were almost scared to win. We bottled it, especially at Saints.
I think Saints will have had a massive lift after yesterday and unless we beat them at home we won't finish in the top two, as they will more than likely lose less games than us between now and the end of the season.
At the moment I think we'll finish third but at the start of the season I thought fourth at absolute best and probably fifth or sixth so I'm still happy with that.
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will. When the road you're trudging seems all up hill, When the funds are low, and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with the twists and turns, AS everyone of us sometimes learns, And many a failure turns about, When he might have won had he stuck it out: Don't give up through the pace seems slow. You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out, The silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems so far; So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit, It's when things seem worse, that you must not quit. NOW THE WIRE!
Personally if we do make it to the CC final, I think we really need to beat Leeds and defiantly Saints. If they beat us at home AGAIN a few weeks before the final, I would not feel confident at all.
BUT if we could beat them then the Monkey so to speak would finally be off our backs then going into the final knowing we can actually beat them would be such a massive lift, same as for Leeds.

time for us to beat the BIG teams this season! needs to happen sooner rather than later
Why? If we finish first or second, we have to beat team in 7th or 8th and then probably either Leeds or St Helens at home to get to the GF. Why can we not do that?
No you have to play the 3rd or fourth placed team in the first week at home

we have been beating Wigan on a regular basis up to the last time we played them...and they got very lucky to beat us then.
We can beat Wigan at their place...of that I am certain. We can beat Leeds...we beat them in a play off match on their own ground....so no fears there at all.
Saints....that's the big Monkey on our backs...the day we do finally beat them (and it will happen soon)..it will be a huge psychological boost..and it will kick us on to win the League...end of.

it was our worst performance of the season against saints but we still only lost to goal kicking.
