In their defence, it is pretty standard for fans to sing W@nky Warrington nowadays, and I don't think many people think anything of the swearing in it.

As long as Wire fans sing TF and the Wire, then we really have nothing to complain about.

Fans have been singing it for years,to be honest it doznt usually provoke a reaction,only for the usual chant of,

in the ground fair enough, not tescos car park with kids and families shopping, my son is used to it traveling to most matches with me, but it will hardly encourage folk to buy a ticket if that's their first contact with the sport!

i know, t'was just expanding the arguement, if you look at my earlier post you'll see i had the joy of running into the group of ambasadors prior to their entry to the ground.

i agree with you, once in the ground as long as it's not racist all's fair, they can chant 'anky warrington, and i'll reply with "you bunch of inbred halfwhits with questionable parentage (or words to that effect) on the understanding my son does not repeat what dad said when he gets home to mum!

1 "Old Faithful" contains rather a lot of words which are too much for the modern day FC fan to remember in one go.

These types of fans are a disgrace but each team has a small section of them

Annoys me people moaning about other people's fans, when some of our fans are no angels.
