its a player we(fc) have been crying out for, take a couple of weeks ago when you beat us at the kc, briers won you that game with his kicking, keeping us back in our own half, we needed someone with a kicking game to get us out of trouble, unlike thorman just kicking it straight it to your fullback or winger, if we had a player like long now, we may have won that game instead of defending the whole second half

Surely you are getting Briers and Thorman mixed-up here. It is Briers who kicks straight into the fullback's waiting arms every single time.

Good signing for Hull in the short term me thinks, but I really dion't think much of the overall Hull business model as they're really handicapped with the terms of their stadium deal etc and bringing in 'expensive' players. (We're not clean on that one either).

Hull KR on the other hand have a pretty decent deal, and in all honesty they've been building from a solid foundation starting a year or two before they came into SL.

I only see one club winning things in Hull and it's not FC.

Hmmm we'll see on that one......the rental agreement at the stadium, although not perfect, isn't the albertros some seem to think. Hull FC is a thriving business, with excellent merchandising and season ticket sales. The community work is 2nd to none and we have recently signed an exclusive multi million pound deal with the NHS to build purpose training facilities for use by FC and the wider community, this inludes an education centre. In addition the youth set up is stronger than most in SL and only two weeks ago we had two overseas players in the team.

To say there will be only one side winning anything in Hull (if anyside is going to) is an over statement to say the least. Now i'll go back to the Hull site (was just on here reading what you all thought about Long)

great signing,if you want someone who's best days are two seasons behind him.still has a fair kicking game on his day but as an out and out match winner i'm afraid he's finished.
