Wigan (4th at end of season, fair enough.
Huddersfield (finished 10th, out of playoffs)
Catalan (finished 10th, out of playoffs)
Hull fc (finished 11th, Out of playoffs)

As stats go, these seem far better.

Last 5 Grand Finals

Leeds have appeared in 4 Grand Finals & won 3.
Saints have appeared in 3 & won 1.

You seem to mistake Warrington for a team with a rich vein of form in the modern history of the game.

No, my whole (original) point is that Saints have dominated the game in the last 10 years or so.

FWIW Warrington have done nothing but stagnate.

We've knocked the reigning champions (Leeds) out the last 2 years!

The Huddersfield season we had to beat every team in the top 5 to get there!

We've also only played the rubbish teams in the league for the past 4 years when we finished top. Same again this year, just an easy league run.

p.s. I'm terrified of drawing you lot in the cup this year and I honestly mean that. Would be a real comeuppance for our hoodoo to be broken at Wembley and I can genuinely see you beating us in the cup this year.

Bit naive to look at it that way given that we have knocked top teams out of it. Off the top of my head we have done Leeds a few times, Bradford when they were actually good (and at Odsal), Hull as well as a few games V Wigan, Wire and other sides that arent foregone conclusions.
