What exactly is his role now. is he just TS's yes man? does he have any input?

First Team Coach. I suspect he is the left hand of TS and responsible for implementing the day to day tactics required to meet TS's wider strategy.
You would expect the club to be looking to make a signing or two for this season if they possibly could. Suppose we will have to just wait and see and hope we pick up some points with the players we've got in the meantime

How do you know if he will be good until he arrives and plays some games for the club? Surely you mean their potential is good? I will never judge an overseas player on reputation again and neither should any other supporter.

he's not an overseas player,following warrington for the last 35 years i think i'm a good enough judge to know who can do a job down here.
