Weve discussed this at length and made our opinions known. It's going backwards and fowards with the same points being made over and over again.I reckon we draw a temporary line under this until the next match.

But in the meantime, here's your big question:

If you want him gone now, name the successor you'd like.

If not, say stay (we all know its not perfect so far)

So basically it's a stay. Or it's a go and a potential successor has to be named (or we'll have literally no-one coaching us).

I would shake his hand and say goodbye. Now.
For the rest of the season we should use the accumulated coaching staff already in the club and the senior players. Choose one of them to lead, the others to add and support. They can't do any worse and probably do better.
For the new coach the board will have the close season to review who is available in the UK and overseas. Move on.

How many has Powell won in the last 10 (TEN) years?

The point was someone said we didnt need structural change. I suggested we did because we had a poor return over 10 years.

You have changed the point to being about Powell.

Would you not accept it is a different job at smaller club like Castleford who cannot spend full cap? And that to question how many honours Castleford have won is a little churlish.

In any case Powell made exactly as many Grand Finals as Price and won a league leaders shield which Price failed to do.

Anyway, this is all moot. Powell is staying as he has the backing of the club until we either turn it around or its clear he cannot.

Clear difference of opinion on here and that's normal and healthy. We dont all have to see it the same way.

Really is banging a head against a brick wall with some of this Wire's 71. Also, I think people are jumping into this part way through (understandably), meaning the same things are being repeated.

Yes we're playing poorly, but many imo are taking a one dimensional view and are being a little short sighted. If I wasn't a Wire fan, I'd absolutely love them them to sack Powell and get another coach in and see him try and get a tune out if this lot with probably the same result. A leopard doesn't change its spots, and neither are these players losing theirs unless someone with the guts to do it boots them out.

Even Shaun Wayne, at the beginning of the season on Sky, said it was a tough job Warrington. With so many great players ready and willing to put the effort in, why would Shaun Wayne say this I wonder? Why didn't he say something like, 'it's a good club with good players and an exciting position for a new coach to take up'?

Yeah I can understand the frustration though.

If Powell were to go now I shudder to think what that would mean for the club. Basically the player power has won. The tail wags the dog.

The same argument for removing Powell could have been made against Watson last season....

Well now there are only 3 left in the 17 who aren’t onside, let’s hope for an upturn in performances.

I'm not a Currie basher at all, but the look Ashton gave him for that really poor pass that went into touch...

Effort is the key. Anything more is a bonus. There's no way on God's earth anyone can realistically expect a team to be challenging for the top 6 with the amount of changes weve made.

I'm still in the "Powell in" camp but I admit to feeling hugely let down by performances. Yesterday pre match he was saying this is a very, very important game for our season then to put in such a shambolic half of rugby which lacked commitment, effort and desire was shocking. Both players and coach equally to blame....once they cross the white line it's not Powell missing tackles or dropping the ball or just shrugging shoulders at each other behind posts after conceding another soft try! Roll on next season (if still in SL)

I was realistically expecting to make the 6, even without blatant optimism of bias. The plan to appoint someone in April was to advance plan and to hit the ground running, and we did. We went 3 out of 3. So I’m not actually having that as a mitigation. I think that is a cobblers excuse.
