Wigan complaining about ruck speed, can you believe it

Well it seems to have worked for Wigan. How this is 6-0 in penalties this half I don't know!

How John Bateman has gone on so long niggling players who tackle him without one of them lamping him I'll never know..

Bizarre refereeing this half. When did a player get called back for stepping off the mark? Huddersfield should have had a penalty in the wigan half - instead they are back down to 12 men.

There seems to have been some controversy about the ref and half time. Something about Bateman going for a word in his ear regarding ruck speed. Anderson certainly couldn't say what he wanted to the sky interviewer but what he did say summed it up. Shocking if you consider the second half penalty count. Also, how can Wigan complain about others slowing them around the ruck? Joke.

No problem with Bateman speaking with the ref - hell Briers did it every week. I have a problem with a referee completely changing the way the game is played from one half to another. We saw us beat Salford in a similar fashion earlier in the year.

Last week when we played Cas, one of their players attempted to offload after the ref called held but knocked on. The ref got him to play the ball. You underestimate the stupidity of SL referees.

Wigan complaining about ruck speed when they did countless late 3rd man in tackles, and even some flops. They should try playing the ball square too, instead of to the sidelines and stop walking off the mark.

I thought Cobb was having a good game 1st half, keeping it flowing and talking to the players well. I was shocked Huddersfield only got 1 penalty 2nd half.

Mr Wane does have an ability to turn average Joes into hard playing and hard running players, if he could stop using the dirty tactics he would be a good shout for England coach.

Joe Cobb will turn out just like the rest of the refs, an egotistical maniac who hogs the limelight. After the game he will go home like the others and watch the game back sat in a comfy chair stroking a white cat and laughing sinisterly at his decisions
