It does make sense to have them playing and when injuries or poor form takes its' toll they could well come back into the reckoning.
I think Lindop was chosen over Matty because Matty was only just coming back from injury and hadn't had any game time.
Showing his wares at Hull could well be to his advantage.
Similar with Bullock.
I'm not sure exactly what extra Sam is looking for from him - but he's the coach and I'm just a punter.
A few years ago Chris Riley went on loan to London only to come back and cement his place in the team.
I'm sure it's tough on them, but how they react says a lot about a player.
In particular I think Matty has really matured since his first stint with us.
Good try for him today - will do his confidence the world of good.
