Well, in the case of Sandow no one predicted it. So if people are predicting Roberts will leave I’ll wait until it actually happens before I believe it...

Im pretty sure I said on here after he wasn't at home when his transport arrived to take him to the airport...."I don't expect him to return"

I think I stated somewhere on this forum, that he wasn't coming back, as a friend of mine, who is related to a player, told me weeks before that he wasn't and this had been agreed with the club.

I didn't believe him at the time, as I thought Sandow was enjoying his time here, but he was proved correct.

Sorry, I was referring to during the season, no one had any inkling that he wouldn’t be coming back. I’m sure it’s crossed Roberts mind if his family took a while to settle, but now the weather is warming up and the fortunes of the team are also on the up I wouldn’t be surprised if he sticks it out.

I'd spoke about it with friends Easy.
I'm sure others on here did that too after some of his strange goings on.

Roberts said he was happy with no regrets to coming over to England this week and is now settling in Nicely. So unless he is a complete liar i'd say he's going nowhere.

Fair enough, I just don’t remember it being talked about on here.

I’m not saying the Roberts thing isn’t true, it’s just that he doesn’t seem that stupid. He’s got a 3-year contract worth shed-loads, and the club won’t have allowed an early release clause based on history. He wouldn’t go home knowing he couldn’t register to play with an NRL club for 3 years and go back to being a civvy.

I’m sure his family will take time to settle as it’s a massive upheaval to a very different lifestyle and was done at very short notice. But knowing the consequences I’m sure they’ll get used to it.

Well it was alleged from a player... (ahem) that when AWOL paid off... (a ring leader who is on the run) out of his £35k GF bonus... he had only £600 left.
