Oh dear. If only wire hadn’t loaned king to wigan next season.
Huddersfield now have a young upcoming centre and yet another young upcoming forward- I’m not sure where we are going to play them all- so we might have someone available for loan if you are still interested!!!!

The squad depth at Huddersfield is pretty insane. I’m really surprised with the two guys leaving our place on the basis of wanting to play games. It feels like they’ll both have more players in front of them but good luck to them, I hope it works out.

Genuine question what’s the thoughts on Wardle?

You have seen him, seemed positive.

It really is!
I think if they are patient it will pay off. Players like Wilson, trout, hewitt English have been patient and taken their chances well to keep more established players out of the side. It shows that there is a willingness to give the younger guys a chance if they show the right attitude. For halsall especially with Leroy and naiqama at the back end of their careers he is likely to get chances. Jack bibby may struggle as we already have an excellent young pack signed up for some time, Wilson, English, rushton greenwood trout and Seb has just resigned too.

He will deserve it if he contributes to a winning performance.

Clearly he has never done this in the past and thus has never deserved to be in a final, i suspect that the same scenario will occur tomorrow.

I'm a bit disappointed we didn't manage to sign Wardle, I suppose with it dragging on it wasnt going to happen. Gildart would be fine for us at centre and I'd like to see us bring longstaff back in to the fold to cover centre until wrench is back.

I think Gildart and drinkwater would be really good additions for next seasons squad.

Gildart is a classy centre, he’s not a big lad, more like a cross between centre and to a lesser extent stand-off. What he lacks in size, he makes up with footwork and handling.

It’s still a rumour, but the halfback chase is definitely on.
We could get by successfully without signing a top centre, we have players who can fill it, Ratchford easily. With the pack we have assembled, we don’t need the worlds best outside backs, just them that can run and pass.
