Six Again rule is still rubbish

No wonder the sport is on its 'arris. Terrible reffing and disciplinary aside, half the games mean love all. These internationals are pointless. Most league games don't matter come September as long as you do enough to scrape into 5th or 6th. It's all just so hard to feel invested in anymore, no matter how loud this BBC commentator shouts.

Never heard because every time he speaks I mute the tv, it gets muted a lot when he is on.

I don't watch the build up now because it's just cringe worthy.

Not just me then, it’s got so bad I often only turn it on when kick off is just about to start.

Been doing this for years...and will continue for the years ahead..in fact there's more televised games next season so will be picking games I wanna watch..

Isn't it just. The use of outdated clichés and phrases "brains trust", "big unit", "text book tackle".

Just comment on what is seen with accuracy and insight and get some relevant "colour commentators"* who have played the modern game in the last 15 years who have some semblance of articulation and expression who can describe the things we may not see or be aware of. Ideally ex players who don't sound thick or a parody of themselves. There is no need for attempted humour or jokes - this is pro sport. We have other channels for comedy.
