Now they are talking about semi finals being refereed differently than a normal season game, I’m confused are the rules not the same all year round and that’s what Mata’utia did not get binned. Based on that then if Saints progress to the final he will escape a ban.

Irrespective of the rest of the match, this is key. Most Super Leagues are a mess like this. This is 2nd vs 3rd for heavens sake.

i would be AMAZED if they banned him, if saints get through.

They really don't want catalans in the final do they? The no try was harsh at best and not even a yellow when a red could have been given...the rfl like to show progression of the french club but not in a final please

ref has no idea how to control it now.. so he is just letting it go.

the officiating and the disciplinary panels in our game are contributing massively to its downfall.
