I have been there before; I seem to recall Tuuta playing for them, Jonny Roper for us and the players warming up on the car park. Was that the last time we were both in the same league, or a cup match?

covered a game there earlier this season - and for those of you who havent been there or not been for a while

its nice and tidy but small. open terracing at both ends - houses back right on to the ground at one end ( thats Post office road) and a couple of decent stands for seating

the main thing you notice is how tiny the pitch is - the Halliwell it most definitely is not in that regard and they know how to play it

Really passionate supporters who hopefully will really turn out in the way Barrow fans did on sunday - Fev will give this is a real go and wont need any motivation

Don't know if anyone's mentioned it, but Iestyn "Judas" Harris plays for them. I'm sure he'll be getting some stick off the travelling fans.

Do they still grow spuds on it??

Probabley the league, 95-96 i think, i was at the same game, Andy Currier was playing for us aswell, we got beat 26-8 or something like that.

Nope............Post Office Road. It was famous for its slope.

Thrum Hall didn't have a slope. Or not when I ever went.
