One could argue that Joel Monaghan wasn’t known as a disruptive influence at Canberra he just didn’t realise that the dog hadn’t consented, despite it being very flirty beforehand. It’s a very difficult situation to take a side in these sensitive ‘celebrity harassment’ cases.

It was all a big mistake, a misunderstanding...
When it became pretty obvious that the dog couldn't act, the video cameraman actually said "let's just sack the dog off!"

Joel was very good at catching the ball, but he would always roll over in a tackle
