Yeah - in the long run no matter what your PR strategy is, you can't disguise results. It's like when people comment on how they like/don't like what a coach says in a press conference. Even the old chestnut "we trained well all week, we looked like world beaters on the practice field" would be received well if we were top of the table on a 20 game winning streak. Everyone would say that's why we're so good, practice like you play!
Also I had to chuckle when in Price's time here people were saying how refreshing his approach was in press conferences.....that soon went sour last season!
