We are back in this with next score although that was a shocking first half display HKR totally dictated the play the speed and where the game was played aided by sloppy play from us

Having players negotiating with other clubs mid season is not good for team morale or motivation.

If I were Clarkey I wouldn’t be arsed either.

Let’s remember that last season everyone was saying we missed out on Ian Watson, who surely the better coach. He currently has arguably the best squad of 2023, and Hudds are lying 10th in the table losing to Leigh.

We are top, and losing by 6 points at half time to the third placed team.

A little perspective, perhaps. Let’s see how our form is during the playoffs. Every year we’ve been at the very top we’ve flopped in the playoffs. Maybe this run of poor form will be a little kick up the backside for when it really counts.
