We're great when we're underdogs, we're crap when we're clear favourites. First home game for 425 days, crap. Wigan GF against a team full of kids, crap. Home to Hull in the play offs, crap. CC Final against Saints.....great, CC final against Catalans, crap.

It's mentality that gets us. The "we'll win this" mindset we seem to have that we never back up when needed.

I think you'll find most clubs are the same. Remember there are only two "Trophy Winners" per year. So imagine yourself supporting other clubs.
It is not quite as easy as getting a "we'll win this mentality". You cannot just want to win more than the other teams ... it's much more difficult than that.
You must have seen loads of teams having a great attitude to a game ... but still losing.

Performances do vary. It's not usually a case of either great or crap but I get your point.

I'm a Leeds fan. Agar getting alot of stick from fans I actually think he's a really good coach. Seems like everyone hates him wherever he's been though....
Not sure why! Not many will know more about professional RL than him.

No, they are quite right. Wigan team was not made up of experienced pros, internationals and grand final winners. No, not at all.

Most clubs are the same but three clubs aren't, they share all the Grand Final wins between them.

You have a point about the Catalans final. The others are over egged or just down right wrong.

I think perhaps you overestimate the talent in your squad. Think Price has you playing above what I would expect......
