| 2 games for touching the ref, 1 game for seriously bad tackle that could have ended that players career.....Yeh makes sense it is the RFL and Wigan!!

| I'm not surprised at all, if a Wigan player had stabbed his own mother to death and was still there with the knife in hand when the police arrived they would still appeal it. So Charnley doesn't win his appeal it must be like touching God when you touch a ref, as for the other how that is down graded is beyond me.

| When I watched the Tautai assault I thought ... he'll get a big ban for that. A one match ban is ludicrous and will only encourage other such tackles. Sam Powell is the one to watch ... he's a very sneaky boy coming in low as third man.

Powell got a warning regarding his tackling technique, well he got a warning for a similar tackle I think the other player turned so he only got him on the hip, but as I see it the intention was there, but it's Wigan and they can do what they want.

| To be fair to most of the Wigan fans on a similar thread on their forum they thought both deserved to be banned, don't like the cannonball tackle which they blame Maguire for introducing. They also mention Powell as being the worst perpetrator of it. Wane on the other hand is completely dillusional blaming Leeds, McDermott the players anybody but his players or indeed himself. McDermott was spot on in his comments after the game and I am sure all other coaches agree with him.

| Wane has a winners streak in him, which I like. However, his thuggish mentality and delusional state when his players are charged is very concerning as is the constant appealing when they know the player is guilty. They need a reality check and the RFL need to do otherwise there will be serious consequence's for a players down the line.
The RFL have no balls whatsoever, there isn't a strong individual within the structure. They are a weak organisation who are frightened of upsetting certain teams and Sky, the sooner they sharpen up the better for the sport.

| I just can't get my head around Charnley appealing after pleading guilty ? Surely pleading guilty is an admission of guilt and should take away the right to appeal ?

| You know any disciplinary cases from now on, each and every one of them is now going to get appealed, just on principle of this last couple of weeks, its going to be a massive waste of RFL time.

Agree with this and Paul's previous post I don't understand how an appeal is or can be based on the length of the punishment.
Surely an appeal should be referenced and restricted to a technical reason why decision innocent or guilty is inappropriate? Any of this we admit the guilt but think it's a bit harsh routine should result in an upgrade in punishment along the lines of 'stop skriking or I'll give you something to skrike about'?
From 2 to 3 or 4 not to 1

| Wane as just put another appeal in wanting us Hull and saints to play with 10 men this weekend, the panel have looked at it and have reduced us to 12, Wane was seen leaving Red Hall fuming at the injustice.
