I wouldn't normally agree with Padders, but I've expressed concerns about this, and it could well be right. Saints were outstanding, congratulations to them, but we had no answer. That's what it looked like to me - plan A or bust. Long passes, offloads and a fairly flat line are a terrible idea against such a defensive effort, but it seems to be all we did, and Briers should have been dropping back further as soon as we saw how quickly they were putting pressure on him (and only him, since despite having 3-4 other good kickers he kicked pretty much every time, so they didn't need to pressure anyone else).

Our plan A is great and I love watching it when it's working, but we desperately need some backup plans when it doesn't work, and have done all season.

Is that it, you just had a bad game? You are not telling me Morley was his usual self tonight? There was no power, none of the effort to put the big shot in when you were being dominated to try and change things around.

The whole team had a bad day at the office..I understand you may want to have a cheap shot at Morley for all he's achieved in the game but he wasn't the reason Wire didn't perform tonight...!

I dare say his errors took the pressure of us.

Just not at the races today, dust ourselves down and focus on next week.

Thought we were terrible but I really thought the ref completely spoiled the game.Shortest 10 yards I have seen in a long time and holding down by both teams.We were overpowered by a saints pack but lets not forget we were missing 2 of the 5 from the start then lost carvell.Hopefully the bad performance we needed to get a little focus back

A very poor performance tonight. You would think that after 2 years together Atkins would be able to pass to his winger???

Richie Myler offers very little creativity and doesnt control the game as a number 7 and needs to step up as that is what we bought him for. But I don't see him doing that. Time to look elsewhere

I could say more but I am sure it has all been said before on this forum about various players

You were poor tonight but the result ultimately doesn't matter and probably does you a favour - you could play far worse than tonight and still do Hull over and then I reckon you'll be under less pressure and weight of expectation with the semi being at LP than you would at the Flatpack. I'm a bit disappointed with the win tonight as I reckon we have the beating of you once in the playoffs but not twice. I'm hoping that your various injuries last a few weeks longer and that Atkins continues his run of form...
