Plenty of positives last night. There were far fewer daft errors and our completion rate seemed much better. I haven't watched it back on Sky yet, but I'd be interested to see if they gave the percentage out and how much it had improved. It was noticeable that Carvell and Wood in particular seemed to be trying to cut out the stupid offloads.
It was a really encouraging game from the youngsters as well. Dwyer looked a handful and showed great vision for his kick through, Chris Hill was one of our best forwards again, Currie looked a hell of a prospect for such a young lad and O'Brien showed glimpses of his class.
The defence in the first ten minutes was a bit of a concern, but considering how many changes there were from last week, I'm not surprised they didn't gel straight away.
