But he's not there to put tackles in, his job should be to run the attack.

I came away from the match thinking he had a great time, decent try , decent distribution and some great tackles. He also was motivating the rest of the team. The tackle on Joel Tomkins with him and Carvell he got straight up clenched his fists and started geeing the team up. In my opinion he has really come on under Smith and if this keeps up would like to retain him for next year.

As long as he's been here i've though that. Disappointing in attack but fully commited, reads the game brilliantly and lightning quick out of the line in defence, and he just doens't miss.

I'd definitely go along with that.

It is funny the change around in players form. After the Wakefield match the only player i would have kept for sure was Hicks and Morley.

Now i can't think of anyone who isn't worth at least one more year. maybe just Rau due to age and maybe Landerson

Actually thought Landerson had one of his most industrious performances for us on Friday night. Caused mayhem with the Wigan defence. Think it's his line defence he needs to concentrate on...

Well done, not sure he deserved MOM. Just watching the game again when he got injured on 45 mins.

Well done for playing on afterwards. Well done to all players (including Wigan) for assissting him when he was out. (although you probably shouldn't have moved him). It is things like that which make RL a great sports

This is rubbish because if you watched the game properly it was bridge who went over and then 2 of the wigan players just happened to be there and did nothing apart from crouch down. Then martin glesson waved his hand to signal come over and that was only so he didn't get more called by the fans than he already was. But i do agree that monaghan should'nt of got man of the match, i thought richie mathers deserved it, he is a legend.

For a scrum-half he really doesn't execute a pass all that well, particularly when he tries to force width in the play.

Strangely, he played a lot better after getting that bang on the head.
