Briers wound him up big time, I still don't see "it" with Tomkins, nowhere near as promising as young Myler, young sam should go back to the casting of the hills have eyes 3.

At risk of getting carried away, one of the big reasons that I am hopeful for this season is Morley & Carvell, once they go off at 20m, you need Rau & Wood/Cooper to just pretty much hold firm, no more, simply because in your mind you know that 10 mins into the second half those two are coming back on & it's lift time, you can sense it. You look across last night, see say Coley & Fielden to come back on, and you know that our two will lift us more than their two will left them, and that'll go for the majority of SL.

loving moaning get, he was first off the line next to the ref every time and always ended up third man in, he got battered from pillar to post last night by all of our forwards(cept maybe rah who was a bit poop last night)

Fielden is finished.

Can't remember who said it but a few years ago, when he was outstanding in weekly 80 minute performances for Bradford, I remember a comment that all that punishment would take its toll. It's taken its toll on his effectiveness as a player, and, I suspect, it will on his body generally once he retires. He may have the odd good game but he is nowhere near the player he was.
