Im sorry but the shift in momentum was unnatural in fridays game.
To be fair, I think that was pretty normal for Saints in the main. In general they have good spells in matches. They aren't really an 80m team. Look at the opening game against us.
The difference on Friday was that their defence was poor. Normally they will have their purple patch and blow a team away, and then be able to defend that lead, whereas they simply looked rubbish in defence and couldn't hold on once posession levelled out.
"phil ford, he's a bit of a stepper
replacing hugh wardell, in jumper no. 15 it's brian case
oooh and he does a bit of a boogie
gregory and gregory, sounds like a firm of solicitors
What a ridiculous thought - both Leeds and Saints would lose on purpose in order to increase Murrayfield ticket sales . Leeds have been rubbish recently (or is that all part of the masterplan!?!) and Saint's defence was not up to scratch on the day.
Hold on, maybe Wire are involved in the conspiracy - Bradford beat Leeds, Wire thrash Bradford, Bradford beat Saints, Leeds beat Huddersfield, we let Huddersfield beat us then Celtic beat Huddersfield next week and they're the best team in the Competition What a pile of horseshat

Did anyone see Longy pass the ball straight to the floor within the first 15 mins.
The ball didn't even slip out of his hands he just passed it straight to the floor
Very strange behaviour.
See, I made this point about Long in a thread about Briers recently. He isn't a good passer of the ball. I actually wasn't that surprised by that one.
The best case for strange behaviour has to be the 45m backwards move. That was farcical, and I'm sure if we had done that on telly, there would have been a huge thread about it, mocking us.

strange behaviour from the ref too when Jefferies quite clearly knocked on, every single player stopped, including jefferies, yet the ref decided to play on after a short delay and bradford went on to score on the back of it.
that was absolutely pathetic and made a mockery of the game of RL.
Normal service will resume next week. The heavy Easter period usually throws up some strange results.
As for the Jefferies incident, the quality of reffing is dubious to say the least for these sky televised games.Bradford had a few tries disallowed and rightly so by the video-ref,yet on a normal sunday, they would have been given.
Just a bad day at the office to say the least for Saints,as for Leeds, reckon they are just going through a bad patch, like every team will do.Come the end of the season, when the weather changes back,Leeds will be there or thereabouts.

He's not far off the mark TBH. Longs game throughout his career has never been about passing. He has adapted to this since he has lost pace but he never has been a natural passer.
