Thought both the Anderson brother were very poor today, Louis was making errors and giving away tackles, while Vinnie was falling of tackles at times and trying to push the pass to often.
A win is a win at the end of the day, very impressed with Briers. Best game in while, as Tony Smith said on GMR he came if with some good plays at important times, e.g. One on one steal. Mitchel and Wood were also good off the bench.
Good atmosphere then , imagine if it was Widnes playing you's today, that end would be full
Get lost.
Anyway, I think some posters are being far too generous. If Celtic had scored at the end (and they could have) there'd have been a six-page thread entitled "Shocking" or "Pathetic" and with some justification.
Have no idea why Briers is getting so much praise: he basically didn't want to know in the first half. Getting another rocket from Smith just about did the trick, but it all shows again why we need to get rid of the lazy get.
The Andersons are stealing a living.
Our ball control has been terrible all season and we have no kicking game to speak of. Higham is not nearly as effective without being spelled with Clarke.
I thought Wood, Rauhihi and Johnson had decent games. Morley was much better but, for God's sake, let's find a proper captain. There's just no-one taking command out there.
Sadly, today's game was like so many before. We still don't have enough players with enough drive to go on and spank a team. Our players think they can cruise through and let someone else finish a game off, and we end up being dragged into these dogfights by average but committed sides.

Agreed. I don't think we will miss Morley too much next season to be honest.
We were awful today, thought Celtic deserved to win and they may have done but for Smith going off injured at a crucial stage of the game.
I agree with that, I came to the game today and I don't think either team were great but Celtic seemed to for the most part of the game have that extra edge and probably did deserve the win but for the last 5 mins you managed to show some passion that had been lacking and drag the win back.
I wouldn't say it was anything to get excited about though really and certainly shows what a long way you have to go before you are close to your potential.
Tony Smith: "I thought the fans really made the difference on Sunday. At times I looked at the South Stand and thought WOW those guys are rocking in there, I like that."
Briers was excellent, defensively I thought he was rock solid. I thought he was impressive throughout, much better appetite of work. I'm not happy with Gleeson at six though, he's not got good enough hands to play there for me. His passing is slow & inaccurate and you lose the threat he poses from the right. Hopefully Monaghan will be back shortly, if not, I'd like to see Bridge given gametime back there. He showed near the end, a cameo of what he's capable of in setting up that Hicks try.
I thought Mitchell & Johnson were great, really good yardage from the pair of them. PJ out of acting half is a handful. Shame that Harrison left they field, I know he came back on, I thought his work ethic was excellent, really looks impressive at the minute.
King was very good, did his work well, Riley waas good. Between them, two great chasebacks, Rileys especially.
Defensively, it was a bit like the old days at times, and much better at other times. Credit Celtic, they came to play, good ball movement, and I was genuinely impressed with them. Louis Anderson stank, he's crap. Penalties, errors, missed tackles. He just annoys me, he really does. I think he's lucky to be in the team right now, when Westwood is fit, he might not be so lucky.
Solid win, against a plucky Celtic side, too easy to say we weren't very good, they were good at times, We could have set our stall out early, 6-0 up and we bombed a few chances and invited them in etc. Anyhow, two on the spin, Salford next in SL. Looking up not down at least.
PJ seemed to step up a gear and came in field looking for work when the team was struggling. Just exactly as a senior pro should.
King blotted his copybook by flying out of the line and gifting Celtic a score. Persistent bad habit.
I would drop Anderson. Both Mitchell and Harrison in recent weeks have really pressed a claim for first team and Super Benny is back next week anyway.
I thought Celtic were really well drilled and very committed. However, their fitness seemed to fade rapidly after about 65 minutes.
