People who are passionate about sport - will loose there temper from time to time, and do/say/shout things that they would never usually do !!!! I can accept this, as long as it's not all time.
If we're honest, I bet we've all done it once or twice - not necessarily the verbal abuse - but we all loose control and shout "something" sometimes !!!

But for someone to go up to a player in public is just pathetic, I'm sure some fans think that because they own a season ticket, they have some kind of share option on the players !!!!
"Constructive criticism" of the players jobs should be kept for the workplace !!!!! And then there are limits !!!!

Players are not public property especially away from the field. However I would hope that King would want to get the supporters on side with his actions on the field; the flip side is that Warrington supporters are also very quick to put players on a pedestal when they start to play well. The ball is firmly in his court.

Why does anybody try to confront a rugby league player? I would fancy my chances in a fight with any premier league footballer, but wouldn't chance upsetting somebody who plays rugby league week in week out. Oh, and whoever it was who abused Darren Burns should have been publicly flogged in the middle of town.
