briers cant tackle,he comes out looking for the interception rather than tackling....at times he does`nt look interested(not on his own there tho)and sulks if its not going his way...to busy concentrating on trying to influence the officials..instead of just getting on with it....on a good day his kicking on the last tackle can turn players round but the majority of times it goes straight down the players throat....get shut..

The guy is spot on, Briers is a complete waste of time and is a bad influence on and off the pitch.

Viewing League from the North

OK, so you've had a poor start to the season. Remember Bradford a year or two back? They started just like you; their supporters criticised and complained like you, but they won the grand final. OK, so some players are playing way below standard, they are better than their recent form - including Briers and King. I believe the fault lies off the field; not essentially with the coach, but with the people who put him there. JL in time may well turn out to be a top class manager, but he does not have the experience to coach what could, and should, be a top class Super League side. He should have cut his teeth in the lower divisions before coming into the big time. Get an experienced coach with a firm hand and good man-management skills and ALL your players, including LB and MK will improve. Only three games in, a long way to go. I suggest Warrington will be in the play-offs - IF all the right decisions are made now. All the best.

The reason people have a go at briers is that the team simply rely on him too much.

We didn't rely on him so much when appo was picked number 6 in super league team of the year or when nat wood carried the team for a number of games in briers absence. it wouldn't take us too long to live and then prosper without him.

the bloke is a cancer eating away at our club.

I aint saying anything on here other than the club need to sort it out. i would be happy to tell the club what i know if i thought it would do any good but i think that one major problem with our club is that as a club we don't feel that we are bigger than some of the individuals who run out wearing the club jersey. if the club was strong then things would have been sorted out by now.

the question is, who is bigger, warrington rlfc or lee briers? for me the club have to show what they are made of. lee briers is a little maggot rotting away at our club from inside to out. if we are not stronger than a weasle like him then it's time for us all to forget it.

I know where you're coming from here pal, it's quite worrying that the club have allowed Briers to carry on like he has for years.

Really? How do you work that out? Or does Warrington have a God given right to beat certain teams?
