Definition of supporter:

To take an active interest in and be loyal to (a particular football or other sport team).

I think the above sums up definition of supporter, which we ALL are on here, you are the one who is defending one person not supporting a whole club or team.

Resorting to peronal insults does not strengthen your argument and will result in your posting rights being withdrawn.

Oh okay, 1 rule for one and another, for a mod. you need to stop threatening me. I said my opinion and you dont like it because its in response to your post. its a Free country, and i dont give a toss about strenghthening my argument, simply. because it was my opinion and not an argument. I have said no worse than what other posters on here say, You just dont like it cos your not used to it, go away

Strange how you didn't think every supporter was a numpty in 2002 / 2003 when with very little money a squad was assembled that we all knew would struggle and we backed them to the hilt. Some of the best atmospheres i have experienced where in those 2 seasons when there was very little optimism in what the team would realistically be able to do.

Season before last we played Leeds with mainly youngsters out and got beat by 40 odd points but again they where backed to the hilt.

The current problems have been created by the board who have assembled on paper a world class side but have given them to much power to the point where they are dictating what the coach can and can't do. We realise that isn't all players but there are a few who are stopping this club progressing, you can see from the past 3 games that Jimmy Lowes doesnt have the players backing no matter how much they come out in the press and say that he does, he may have the support of some but not all.

The players will always take the brunt of the supporters feelings because they are the ones out on the park but most of us realise most of them are not at fault, most go in and do as they are told but they all should and those that aren't are letting the club down.

You will have a different view as you are looking at it from a similar view of the players, not all supporters are numptys who don't have a clue what is going on and spout rubbish though I accept that we have a few and some of them are on here.

Be careful not to bite the hand that feeds, it will eventually give up and stop laying out as we are already seeing and don't tar everyone with the same brush, a point I think you are guilty of at the moment.

I agree with Geordie on this. The board appointed Jimmy on the basis of 4 (I think) wins after Paul Cullen left. This time is always a honeymoon period and the players are always looking to impress a new coach in charge. Liverpool apart in the 70's & 80's the process of promoting from within the club has rarely been a fruitful one. The step up from assistant to first team coach is a massive one.

The farcical appointment is the real reason why we are now in this position. We should have bided our time in the appointment and waited until the end of the season as was the original plan.

The blame in my opinion should firmly be placed at the feet of the board!
