According to Redvee Briscoe took Ritson out for Hardaker’s try, like I said earlier I turned it off after the ref started letting things go so I did not see that. Also turned it off because I just didn’t want to hear Wilkin

Great match for the neutral, and the not so neutral Saints haters.

Didn't actually see much from the ex Wire players (Mulhearn aside) to make me regret losing them but boy, that Leigh team run through fire for each other and their coach.

Congratulations to Leigh, deserved win for their never say die defence.

There's something wrong at our club, when some of our former "bad apples" gave commitment, guts and determination (as they've done all season, as they're not second through opponents keep letting them win) while playing at another club.

They're professional sportsmen, and if their performances are influenced by what we write on here, then they ought to be looking at another career.

Saints biggest problem (and it was the same last week, v Catalans) they can have plenty of ball and territory but if Lomax doesn't create for them, it pretty much doesn't happen with little coming from the golden boy at Full Back and even less from the Scrum Half.

Makinson surprisingly missed two kicks he would normally get but in the end, Leigh took their chances and congratulations to them.
