Catalans far, far better than two point victors.



Win or lose, Catalans should be voicing their displeasure at Liam Moore to the authorities, he stank the place out.

He will be happy he got the win but Mcmanara will not be happy about the ref.

As much as we were an improvement last week against Saints. Catalan showed tonight how to beat them. They dug in and bullied them out of the game. Even with a lot of calls going against them. I wish we showed the same grit to see the game out last week.

Is it me or do the sky presenters sound dissapointed?

We are MILES off that grit. Our head would have gone when it got to 12-14 with 6 to go.

The wanted Saints to win all game. Along with Liam Moore. When Paasi knocked on at the end. They were calling it a strip. There may have been a hand in, but Paasi was careless. None of the commentators mentioned that he should have done better keeping hold of the ball which is what they usually say in a 50/50 situation like that.

Goodness me I`m no fan of Catalans but they were well screwed by the ref tonight.

He must have missed 4 or 5 six agains yet was giving them to Saints all night long.

Cats pulled for a forward pass to have a certain try ruled out that was never forward.

Yep Cats should have had a fair few more 6 agains. When Davies made a break down the right in the second half, Dodd pulled at his leg twice as he was getting up and nothing given.

The amount of times i saw Konrad Hurrell flailing around trying to stand up after a tackle virtually lying all over the Cats player was embarrasing.

Not the meltdown you normally get with a loss. Maybe they have been coached by DSM and Smiffy

Catalan are a resilient lot. It makes our two wins in Catalan look even better. They were two very tough games & took loads out of us.

Ref did everything he could to keep saints in that game last night.

Not a fan of Tomkins or McIlorum, but it was funny to see them both getting under the skins of both the Stains players and fans last night, quality entertainment.

McIlorum was excellent, may not have the skillset and running game of other 9's in the league, but his defence is something else.

Well spotted. We struggled after both Catalans games.

Even though we won the next game we had after both fixtures with Catalans.

You must be looking at a different set of results than me.

We lost to Wigan & Saints then Leigh & Hull after the Cats games.

Mind you that is not an excuse for losing ... but Cats away were both tough games & we looked exhausted both times.

Hull v Cas 8-8 at HT finished 36-18 in 2nd half to Hull,must of been a good watch that 2nd half.

Saints, for some reason are allotted extra time to lye on in the tackle. They have a clause that they cannot concede a ‘six again’ in doing so.
