We aren't playing saints next couple of games, we were when vaughan and philbin were cited. Catalans are playing saints next though and they have 2 players banned for their next match. BUT don't forget the disciplinary panel have an agenda against saints.

So what’s gone wrong

And Matty lees as 4 on the MRP and got nothing, infact quite a few from that game are on the minutes, wonder how long before anyone gets cited for farting it’s all getting to much.

Rugby League will die not from lack of money but the game being made so safe they will have the players dressed like Michelin men or something, lol just thought won’t be a lack of money with all the fines being dished out.

The RFL are desperate to find something on Lees for some reason. He's been sin binned twice this season for things that weren't even penalties and gets cited most weeks, only for them to find out he actually didn't do anything illegal.

Someone on Twitter mentioned there were 32 citings from the two televised games and 26 from the rest of the games combined. That's an issue for me, they're looking more closely at the televised games than they are at the rest. If they're doing this as some kind of response to the legal claims by former players and they need it to show evidence that they're hot on dangerous play, then fair enough. But I suspect it's just the incompetence of the management at the RFL and they just haven't got a clue what they're doing. Either that or they're on commission per citing.

We know how much Cullen loves the sound of his own voice and his general demeanour is that of your common jobsworth, so it's little surprise that the disciplinary committee comes across as being so fussy and interfering.

Much prefer the days when they just punished players who had been sent off or sinbinned on the day and weren't being used as some all-seeing-eye, imposing their standards, from an office somewhere.

That post is like saying Fire fighters start fires so they can be heroes to put them out.

No bans this week.

No shock there. Paul and his fellow jobsworths will be too busy enjoying the long weekend to be arsed going over hours of SL action.

Lot easier just to impose a few fines.

So they're desperate to find something on him but not desperate enough to find him guilty? That makes about the normal amount of sense for you.

Lees fancies himself as the new Knowles and has a particular speciality of tackling people without the ball (twice in our game as I recall).
