I think you miss the point, I have been to all the grounds you mention plus many more besides that may not be great. But at each of the grounds I have had a clear view of the game which is the main reason for attending. At Craven Park in the South the view is abysmal to say the very least.

My way of thinking is, "if you dont want to come, dont, you will not be missed and your place can go to a true fan"

I get fed up of so called fans not attending games then blaming the view or the food or the parking or the opposing fans attitudes..........I could go on! Please stay away, keep your moans away and let those that will be there have a cracking day.

The view is not perfect, but to allow it to prevent you attending a game so massive in its magnitude is both pathetic and dissapointing.IMO

I'm not a true fan I will view it on the TV considering it appears that the view you get is crappy and I would actually quite like to WATCH the game.

Sorry where did I say I am not attending.

I am attending and have been to Craven Park many times previously which is how I know where the best views are. It is also the reason I am not happy about being given the South Stand if I want to stand with the majority of Wire fans. HTH

No and it isn't being sold to me on here with the comments about poor views. Happy not to be a 'true fan'.

I know Craven Park isn't the greatest ground in the world but Latchford obviously forgets or never went to some of the old traditional grounds.

I have indeed been to many old traditional grounds like Workington, Barrow, Saints, Featherstone, Belle Vue (Doncaster's old ground) Central Park, Oldham (old and new) plus many many more.

At everyone of those grounds mentioned you get a better view than you do at craven park, in the eye's of the away fan's your ground will always be the worst ground for that reason and i'm going on Saturday before you say i'm making excuses not to attend.

I fully agree and until we get it sorted the away contingent for bigger games will suffer. I know plans are in place but funding remains difficult at present.

Indeed so. Most of the old grounds were very compact and often had good atmospheres due to the supporters being virtually on top of the players. The only things blocking the view were the rusty metal posts holding up the stand roof.

When did we play at Belle Vue? Its not a ground I remember visiting but I do have some hazy years.

Simple solution to the crap view at Hull KR is to have bought tickets for the North(?) Stand. You know what the South Stand (aka Amsterdamn) is like and you can do things to sort yourself out if you want to. It is a bit rubbish charging full whack to stand at that end.

Wasn't it that one season when they were in the old Stones competition? They had Matuatia playing for them.
