Honestly i'm not to sure of the ins and outs of the job, but i think the other roles are covered as normal and having a guy who knows the club inside and out, in a position to help out in all areas is a plus.
I might be wrong matey but i think it will be a help rather than hinder, so i'm looking at it as a plus
Also no, i don't think he was consulted on Burgess at the time, as i think the choice to appoint him as a director of Rugby came after we signed Burgess.
