Missing backs would improve things but only one forward missing. Our so-called super pack couldn't handle a fitter and faster outfit whose average age is years younger than ours. Same old story. They develop we get a bunch of over 30s

Thankfully, Clark ,Russell & one or two others had a go last night against Wigan who stayed in second gear most of the night. They could have hammered us but only opened up when they needed to. Once again we were losing too much ground in defence too many times,

Good effort from your pack in the first half, particularly the line speed in defence but it was inevitable that they would run out of steam.

To be fair, that was probably Clarkes best game for quite a while, he has been out of form or perhaps carrying an injury. Lots of us hope Walker can step up. He's one of our own and certainly looks Captain material. Dwyer will be an able back up.
