People shuddered when Matchroom sports we're rumoured to be interested in our sport. That's our problem the "dont want any of that crap" brigade who think everyone will buy into the sport out of some organic interest.

Matchroom sports made 2 blokes throwing darts at a board appealing to the nation and will make some decent £ off Chisora vs Parker on ppv and it isn't even a title fight.

If not them we need someone willing to market us. Christ we were in the papers more when Koukash was mouthing off and drumming up interest than we are now when one of the future immortals is about to play his first game in SL

Couldn’t agree more. The narrow, defeatist, us against the world mindset is holding back the game. We have chased off new money, yes he was a bit of an idiot, but he kept a club alive that have since been to Old Trafford and Wembley.

We turned our noses up at genuine sport marketers, and complain that the rugby press is union biased.

We’re a minority sport acting like one. We need to open our minds to more.

This is why I'm umming and ahhhing about having him as a bit of a running 6 should Austin remain dropped. Best players dictate the ball in certain areas. If have he has an issue which seems to be case the flight should be booked.

Greg Inglis, one of the greatest ever to play the game of RL and one of the biggest signings in Super League history, makes his debut on Saturday, on the OurLeague app, where only Wire and HKR fans can watch, whilst Super League has just signed a greatly-reduced TV deal with Sky Sports, who won't be broadcasting the game anyway.

Can't you just purchase the day pass which is eligible for all games in one competition? The link's at the bottom of the live streams page:

https://www.rugby-league.com/livestream

It's £15 a day or £20 for the whole weekend

It's not being shown as a PPV on Ourleague , it's for club season ticket holders only.

Fair enough, it's just there is a link on my live stream page to pay for all games, so I've wrongly assumed that meant anyone could pay a fee for the day like NOW TV.

Fwiw I'm no season ticket holder but i.ll have it on..as for those who think sky should of moved it so it can be televised why..if he was fit from day one he would of played against cas but no he wasn't..hardly sky's fault..all being well those who feed sky's back pocket will get a glimpse of Gregg's the week after when we play cats in the cup

Yes, it was all nicely set up for week 1. Wire vs. Cas would already have been the pick of the round and GI's debut would have been the icing on the cake as far as Sky and the neutrals were concerned. As it was neither GI nor the rest of the Wire team showed up.

Sky and the rest of the league can't be expected to keep switching their schedules in the hope that 'this will be the week'. If you were a fan of one of the teams scheduled to be on Sky this weekend, and you didn't have an OurLeague pass, but your match got bumped in order to accommodate the Wire then you'd be a bit miffed.

FWIW if you've got a legitimate straightforward way of watching the game live without being a member I'm sure many of us would appreciate it if you shared it please.
